The Use Of Cymbalta In Fibromyalgia Treatment
Its 2008 approval made it just the second drug approved for treating fibromyalgia. A generic form is available in the U.S.
Cymbalta and the other approved drugs, Lyrica and Savella , are considered first-line treatments for fibromyalgia. That means they’re recommended before any other drugs. They work well for some but not for everyone. For some people, they cause side effects that are either dangerous or unpleasant enough to make people go off of them. For others, they just don’t work very well.

However, no data on the efficacy of duloxetine for Social Anxiety Disorder, nor guidance regarding time to response or predictors of response, is yet available. Duloxetine was a complete game changer for me. I started on 40mg/d and saw my anxiety almost disappear within 3-4 days. But because I was also interested in taking duloxetine because I have some neuromuscular pain that prevents me from exercising, I decided to go up on the dosage to 60mg/d. It didnât take all the pain away, but cut it significantly, enough for me to start exercising and get stronger. I take it at night and it does help me sleep. I donât feel tired during the day. Only side effect is constipation. Something I can deal with for the benefits it comes with.
